Our Services

Veterinary Physiotherapy

Functional, Evidence‑Led, Focused on Your Dog’s Best Life

Veterinary physiotherapy is a science‑based, hands‑on profession that works alongside traditional veterinary medicine to improve comfort, mobility and long‑term wellbeing. Every patient receives a holistic, functional assessment, allowing treatment plans to be tailored to their specific orthopaedic or neurological needs.

Physiotherapy supports recovery from injury, surgery, chronic disease and age‑related change. It reduces pain, restores normal movement patterns, and rebuilds healthy muscle function. It also plays a key role in performance development for sporting and working dogs, helping minimise injury risk while maximising strength, balance and efficiency.

Treatment may include:

Manual Therapies

Massage and soft‑tissue techniques, acupressure, joint mobilisations, myofascial release and targeted stretching to reduce pain, improve mobility and optimise tissue health.

Electrotherapies

Therapeutic ultrasound, Class 4 laser, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, TENS and NMES to support healing, reduce inflammation and enhance neuromuscular function.

Remedial Exercise Programmes

Individually designed exercise plans to improve strength, endurance, suppleness, proprioception, balance and stability. These programmes encourage correct movement patterns and support long‑term functional improvement.

Management & Home‑Care Advice

Clear, practical guidance on therapeutic handling, environmental adaptations and day‑to‑day management to help owners support their dog’s rehabilitation at home.

Orthotics

When appropriate, orthotic devices can provide additional support pre‑ or post‑surgery. Bespoke advice, selection and fitting available.
